Now in its 29th year, this event hosted is hosted by the Wallace MacAskill Yacht Club in St. Peter’s. Warm-up races are held on the Friday on buoyed short courses, while the big race takes place Saturday over a 25-mile course on the Bras d’Or Lakes. Stay after the races for chowder, games, awards, entertainment, and fun.

The Riverfront Jubilee
A three-day East Coast Music Award nominated musical event that kicks off the August long weekend. The stage is set for a great time on the open-air amphitheatre along the town’s East River. This festival hosts the best of local and East Coast talent. Past acts have included Alan Doyle, Haywire, and Matt Anderson. The music continues on late night stages at venues around town.
