Moncton Boat Show
Get ready for the season at the largest boat show in New Brunswick. Over this three-day show, you can shop dealers, chandleries, and services at Moncton Coliseum. Boat models include fishing boats, inflatables, cruisers, and runabouts, and personal watercraft. Shop for accessories, learn about insurance and financing, and sit in on one of the seminars about the boating lifestyle. This show coincides with the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show and the Dieppe Fly Fishing Forum.

Boat Building Workshops at the Wooden Boat Museum in Newfoundland and Labrador
Sign up for a one-day or a weeklong course and learn how to build a traditional wooden dory with instruction from a master boat builder. Boats you learn to build include the Grand Banks dory and the 16’ 4” Winterton Rodney. Special packages include accommodations and breakfast.

Organized by the Boston Yacht Club and the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron in Halifax, this ocean race got its start in the trade routes between Nova Scotia and the Boston States in the 18th and 19th centuries. Dory Boat Festival Bay of Chaleur, New Brunswick This festival has been a highlight in the community since 1968. Every year, about 20 teams compete to row across the Bay of Chaleur, an intense 35-kilometre crossing for which the rowers train. Visitors can take part in the live performances, bingo, fireworks, parade, and activities for kids.
