Baddeck Race Week
August 5, 2018 - August 11, 2018
Starting the first Sunday every August, this regatta hosted by the Bras d’Or Yacht Club
presents some of the best racing on the Bras d’Or Lakes. The event kicks off with a sail through
on the lakes and then races every day. There are classes for junior sailors in prams, optimists,
lasers, and 420s. The final race of the week is the Gardiner Hubbard Bell race. The winners of this
race receive a prestigious trophy that is housed at the Bell Museum.
