If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded, safe haven that is protected from the elements, come spend the night and enjoy beautiful scenery in a friendly and welcoming area. Visit the Oromocto Marina operated by the Oromocto Boat Club Inc.

Located in the Town of Oromocto, one of Canada’s largest military training bases, the Marina is nestled at the mouth of the Oromocto River, between Thatch Island and Hazen Park (45° 51.234 N 66° 28.546 W). We are a stone’s throw from major shopping centres with grocery stores, banks, fast food and restaurants and a few minutes from the Fredericton Airport where you can catch a plane to major cities in the US and Canada.

The Oromocto River intersects the Saint John River. The Saint John River has over 400 navigable miles of water and 75 miles between the head of navigation in Fredericton and the river’s end at the port city of Saint John. Charts of the Saint John River can be obtained from Canadian Hydrographic Service.

If you are coming from the Atlantic seaboard, you must come through the Bay of Fundy and the Reversing Falls at slack tide in Saint John and up the Saint John River. The tide tables for the slack tides can be obtained here.
